Aditiva
An app for the driver in a loyalty ecossistem of gas stations loyalty
Project:
Aditiva is a B2B2C application aimed at gas station owners and drivers participating in the loyalty program. It allows drivers to redeem prizes, interact with the gas station, and receive direct communications from the gas station owners through push notifications.
Involved: As a Product Designer, I was responsible for ideation, prototyping, conducting usability tests, and implementing new features to gain traction for the application.
Collaboration: Closely with the team, including developers, product managers, and other designers, to understand the needs of users and gas station owners, identifying gaps in the product and proposing solutions.
Collaboration and Problem Solving:
I collaborated with other professionals through brainstorming meetings, user feedback analysis, and usability testing sessions. These interactions helped the team to understand the main needs and issues of the users, leading to the development of solutions such as fuel discounts, the "refer and earn" functionality, account recovery, and registration through the app.
Design Approach and Visual Language:
Being an existing project, my role was to revitalize and boost the application. The visual approach had to be consistent with the existing brand, while introducing freshness and appeal to engage more users. The visual language was carefully chosen to convey trust, ease of use, and encourage interaction between drivers and gas stations.
Discarded Designs:
During the design process, it's natural to explore various directions before deciding on a final approach. Designs that were not followed might have been due to usability test feedback indicating comprehension or interaction issues, or perhaps they did not align perfectly with the project's objectives.
Product Visualization and Interactions:
To visualize your design in detail and understand the interactions, creating navigable prototypes is essential. Tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch allow for the development of prototypes that simulate the end-user experience, offering a realistic view of how the application operates in real scenarios.
Project Learnings:
This project offered several learning opportunities, from deepening design and prototyping skills to better understanding the needs of B2B2C application users. Working on an existing product and seeking ways to revitalize it taught the importance of listening to users, iterating quickly, and collaborating effectively with the team to achieve common goals.
